Who We Are

The Holey Trail is a cycle shop located in Machynlleth, Mid Wales, in the heart of a magnificent area for road and mountain biking. Whether it's a road or mountain bike you're after, or anything in between, we stock a wide range of quality bikes from Giant, Trek/Fisher, Brompton and Pukey along with a good range of accessories and clothing.

We all ride a lot, so can offer helpful relevant information on bike choices, and places to ride. We have built a reputation for offering sound and sensible advice on the quality products we stock, and we only stock quality products.

We understand the importance of owning a quality bicycle, so we are partnered with Cyclescheme and offer part-exchange. Above all we are here to help you get the most out of cycling, and we are happy to pass on the benefit of our experience whenever you have time to listen. We go the extra mile so that you can go a few further.

We run a well equipped workshop, so if your regular commuter is in need of a service, or you have mangled your wassaname on a biking weekend we can help with that.

We actively support cycling in the local area through our involvement with the Dyfi Enduro, and the Dyfi Mountain Biking routes & website.
